- What are my options if I am not eligible?- You can talk to your support coordinator and occupational therapist about possibilities of being reassessed to be funded for SDA. If this is not a possibility then your other options included supported independent living or individualised living options, both of these services are offered by RIISE.
- What does the funding cover?- The SDA funding covers payment for the dwelling itself. The rent and utilities. The home is maintained by the SDA manager and funds are paid to them via your NDIS plan.
- Who offers the care in the SDA dwelling?- Supported Independent Living is delivered in the SDA dwelling by the team at RIISE. This is covered under your NDIS plan separately to the SDA funding.
