What is Supported Independent Living?
It is personal support for people with a disability that is paid for with NDIS funding. RIISE offer supported independent living across Ballarat. Our SIL homes are clean , tidy and well maintained and our disability support workers are energetic and passionate about empowering independence and improving the lives of people with disabilities in our community.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is best suited for NDIS participants who have higher support needs. This means that participants require a significant amount of help or supervision with daily tasks 7 days per week including overnight support.
At RIISE we offer supported independent living in homes across Ballarat where you can reside with other NDIS participants in a group environment, improving your independence, making friends, engaging in meaningful activities all with the help and support of our wonderful team!
